Held HERE seminar and panel discussion titled "Future Classroom"
Organized by the Erasmus+ office in Montenegro and the Montenegrin HERE team (Higher Education Reform Experts), the HERE seminar and panel discussion titled "Future Classroom" was held at the University of Donja Gorica. It focused on the future of higher education, digital transformation, innovations in teaching, and strengthening the alignment of educational policies with the needs of modern society and the labor market. During the introductory panel "Ready for EU? Perspectives of Higher Education and the Role of the Erasmus+ Programme," Mr. Sanja Pavićević from the Directorate for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation presented key updates to the Higher Education Law, adopted in 2025. Special emphasis was placed on reform solutions contributing to the modernization of the higher education system, improving the quality of study programs, developing more flexible study models, and enhancing the internationalization process. Regarding the prospects of higher education in the process of European integration, it was highlighted that the reform directions defined by the new legal solutions represent an important step in further aligning the Montenegrin higher education system with the European Higher Education Area.
