On the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, limited pellet prices in Montenegro
At today's session, the Government of Montenegro, at the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and Minister Vladimir Joković, and based on the proposal of the Ministry of Economic Development, adopted a decision to limit the price of first and second class pellets in Montenegro. The decision restricts the retail price of pellets, setting a maximum level of 250 euros per ton for class A2 pellets and 270 euros per ton for class A1 pellets. VAT is included in these prices. This measure was initiated at the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management to ensure citizens have more affordable and stable supply of pellets ahead of the upcoming winter season, while maintaining market stability and protecting domestic producers' interests. Price limitation is a concrete support measure for citizens and results from the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to monitor market conditions and take measures to protect consumers and ensure stable supply. The decision comes into effect the day after publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro and will be valid until the 30th.
