MPNI Representative at the Global Symposium 'Partnership for Excellence!'

The symposium is part of ETF's contribution to the initiative 'Towards a Global Program for Vocational Education and Training,' funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. The initiative is implemented by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in partnership with the International Labour Organization, OECD, and UNESCO-UNEVOC, with WorldSkills as an associated partner. At the symposium, attended by around 60 representatives from EU countries and ETF partner countries, the first key results of ETF's contribution to this initiative were presented. Excellence in vocational education is a key element of the Skills for Europe Program, which aims to ensure that citizens across Europe possess advanced skills relevant to the labor market, contributing to innovation, economic growth, and lifelong learning. Centers of excellence in vocational education are increasingly recognized as key drivers of developing attractive, innovative, and inclusive vocational education systems that strengthen partnerships between education and industry, as well as improve cooperation and mobility at the European level. The symposium showcased different approaches countries are applying in developing centers of excellence in vocational education, examples of good practices, and specific challenges in establishing and developing these centers.
