Criminal Complaint Against Baranina for Illegal Construction of Multiple Buildings; Damage to the State Budget Exceeds 70,000 Euros
Police officers from the Bar Security Department, continuing targeted controls aimed at detecting and prosecuting illegal construction in their jurisdiction to protect the environment and combat all forms of ecological crime, have filed a criminal report with the competent prosecutor's office against a person suspected of illegally building multiple structures, causing material damage to the Montenegro Budget totaling over 70,000 euros. In coordination with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar, and upon the prosecutor's order, police filed a criminal complaint against R.M. from Bar, suspected of committing the criminal offense of building without proper permits and documentation. In Old Bar, construction began without prior building permits, contrary to the Law on Building Structures, and four buildings with a total area of 720 m² were constructed. Based on current findings, R.M.'s criminal act caused material damage to the Montenegro Budget amounting to approximately 72,000 euros.
