Citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina detained at the Sitnica border crossing based on an international warrant issued by NCB Interpol Vienna
Border police officers at the Joint Border Crossing GP Sitnica – Zupci detained Bosnian citizen J.T. (31), who is wanted internationally by NCB Interpol Vienna. The warrant is related to his involvement in criminal activities including money laundering and participation in organized crime. He is suspected of deliberately renting construction machinery for illegal financial gain, failing to settle obligations from their purchase and rental, causing material damage estimated at 444,570 euros. NCB Interpol Podgorica has been notified and will coordinate with NCB Interpol Vienna to facilitate his extradition to Austrian authorities.
