Over the weekend, 61 drivers arrested, of whom 41 for driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances – 38 traffic accidents recorded
In September, 38 traffic accidents were recorded on Montenegrin roads, resulting in one fatality. Six people sustained serious injuries, while 20 were lightly injured. During the same period, traffic police officers, as part of enforcement activities, filed 188 misdemeanor charges, issued 1,565 citations, temporarily seized 19 pairs of license plates, and withdrew an equal number of vehicles from traffic. Of the total number of drivers detained, 23 were detained in Podgorica, nine in Bar, and four each in Kotor and Bijelo Polje.
