Personnel Changes in the Police Directorate – Regional Center for Security "Sjever"

The Director of the Police Directorate made personnel changes at today's College session, following the appointment of the Deputy Director of the Police Directorate to a full term, by reallocating and filling leadership positions at the Regional Center for Security "Sjever" with the aim of improving operational activities, strengthening personnel capacities, increasing overall efficiency, and optimizing work processes. Dalibor Jeremić, the current Deputy Chief for Crime Prevention at this regional center and a police officer with decades of experience, has been appointed as the Head of the Regional Center for Security "Sjever". Throughout his professional career, he has held positions such as Head of the Berane Security Department, Head of Criminal Police at the Bijelo Polje Security Department, Police Station Commander, and Head of the General and Economic Crime Suppression Unit at the Bijelo Polje Security Department, as well as Deputy Head of the Regional Center for Security "Sjever" for Crime Prevention. Additionally, Obrad Balazo, a police officer with extensive experience in solving and suppressing the most serious crimes against life and body, has been assigned as the Commander of the Criminal Police Station at the Kolašin Security Department. With these personnel decisions, the Police Directorate continues to strengthen its staffing capacities, recognizing expertise, experience, and professional integrity as key criteria for performing leadership functions. These changes ensure high-level management positions, creating conditions for long-term planning of service development and implementation of strategic security goals, in accordance with the recommendations of international partners and the best international standards.
