Ivanović at the Economic Forum in Karpacz: Montenegro Builds the Future with Knowledge, Innovation, and European Values
At the Economic Forum in Karpacz, one of the most significant political and economic gatherings in Central and Eastern Europe, Ivanović presented Montenegro's view on the future of the European Union, enlargement policy, contemporary geopolitical challenges, and the changes that will be shaped by the accelerated development of new technologies and artificial intelligence in the coming decades. During the plenary session "Leaders of Tomorrow," he spoke about digital transformation, the development of artificial intelligence, and the responsibility of today's generations to lay the foundations for Europe's future. He emphasized that Montenegro sees digital transformation as an important part of its broader development and reform agenda, aiming for a more modern and efficient public administration with services that are more accessible and simpler for citizens and businesses. Discussing the potential of artificial intelligence, he pointed out that its application can significantly improve institutional work, accelerate information processing, simplify administrative procedures, and contribute to better public policy planning. Alongside Vice President Ivanović, panel participants included Vaclav Klaus, former President of the Czech Republic and representative of the Vaclav Klaus Institute; Hal Brends, a political author and commentator from the United States; Kścištof Paviński, Chairman of the Board of Maspeks Group; and Vlodzimierz Vlažljak, Chairman of the Board of Lidl Poland. Ivanović's participation in the Karpacz Economic Forum was an opportunity for Montenegro to present its development vision and reaffirm its commitment to actively participate in shaping Europe's future.
