Janović with Teni: Continuing Strengthening of Montenegro and US Partnership
Director of the National Security Agency Ivica Janović met with U.S. Congresswoman Claudia Teni. During the meeting, they exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as current challenges and opportunities facing Montenegro's European path. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening the security sector, continuing reforms, and aligning them with European and Euro-Atlantic standards. In this context, the importance of a strong partnership between Montenegro and the US was highlighted, along with U.S. support for Montenegro's European journey. It was assessed that membership in the European Union is a strategic goal of key importance for the long-term stability, security, and prosperity of Montenegro, with continued strong commitment to transatlantic partnership.
