Cyber Resilience Strengthens Through Education, Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing, and Timely Reporting of Security Incidents

CARNET's National Coordination Center for Industry, Technology, and Research in Cybersecurity (NKS) organized the third national conference "Cybersecurity: The Human at the Center" under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation, and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Over 350 participants from the public, private, and academic sectors gathered today at The Westin hotel, including experts and representatives of relevant Croatian and European institutions, to discuss the implementation of the legislative framework, technical aspects of cybersecurity, improving knowledge and skills in this field, and project funding opportunities. The Cybersecurity Act clearly establishes the obligation to manage cybersecurity risks. Risk management involves continuous threat assessment, establishing security policies and procedures, implementing technical and organizational measures, and their ongoing improvement.
