Border police confiscate vehicle sought by Interpol Serbia; Ukrainian citizen detained for document falsification

Officers of the Regional Border Police Center 'Center' continue intensive control activities at border crossings within this region, aimed at monitoring entry and exit from the country, with the goal of detecting and sanctioning all forms of cross-border crime. A Serbian citizen, who was driving an Audi A6, was found to be driving a vehicle sought by Interpol Serbia and listed in Interpol's stolen vehicle database, leading to its seizure for further investigation. Additionally, a Ukrainian citizen, operating a Mitsubishi with Spanish license plates, was found to possess a falsified Ukrainian driver's license during border control. The event was reported to the public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, who ordered further proceedings.
