Minister Vuković in Riga: Montenegro among actors shaping the European economic agenda

Finance Minister, Mr. Novica Vuković, will participate in the 35th Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Riga, one of the most significant global forums dedicated to economic development, investments, and reforms, gathering key decision-makers from over 70 countries. During the plenary session and a series of bilateral meetings, Minister Vuković will present Montenegro's reform progress, development priorities, and the country's clear European ambition to join the European Union by 2028. By attending this high-level international gathering, Montenegro affirms its position as an active and credible partner in dialogue on economic policies, investment flows, and reform processes shaping the European and global economic agenda. During his stay in Riga, Minister Vuković will hold a series of bilateral meetings with the highest leadership of EBRD, as well as with representatives of other international financial institutions and Montenegrin investment partners. The focus of the discussions will be strengthening economic governance, supporting reforms, accelerating investment projects, and further developing cooperation with EBRD in infrastructure, energy, and green transition sectors.
