Monthly Report for June 2026
In June 2026, 896 inspection checks were carried out, including 575 regular inspections, 121 inspections initiated by authorities, and 200 control inspections. During these inspections, market inspectors identified 269 irregularities related to violations of regulations within their jurisdiction. To address these issues, inspectors issued 266 decisions: in 142 cases, they ordered rectification of irregularities; in 82 cases, they removed products worth €45,278.27 from the market; in five cases, they imposed temporary bans on activities; in 31 cases, they issued decisions for the submission of business documentation; and in two cases, they seized goods worth €1,551.80. Due to violations, 484 misdemeanor orders were issued, totaling €165,680 in fines. Inspectors also acted preventively in three cases by warning subjects of irregularities and setting deadlines for correction. The Directorate for Market Inspection will continue inspections to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to internal trade, consumer protection, intellectual property rights, provision of craft services, and other areas within its jurisdiction, to ensure consistent application and contribute to a well-regulated market.
