Nikšić: 8 persons prosecuted for cocaine and marijuana abuse; criminal and misdemeanor reports filed

Officers of the Regional Security Center "Zapad" – Nikšić Security Department, conducting planned activities aimed at preventing drug abuse and distribution, carried out controls at Bedem Fest and Lake Fest in Nikšić, during which they found illegal drugs cocaine and marijuana and processed a total of eight persons. Police officers, upon order from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, filed four criminal reports against four individuals suspected of enabling drug use, while four others were reported for possession and use of illegal drugs, in accordance with the Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse. Suspected of committing the criminal offense of enabling drug use, including marijuana and cocaine, K.J. (34), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was detained. Misdemeanor reports were filed against K.D. for violations of the Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse. The officers of the Regional Security Center "Zapad" – Nikšić Security Department continue to implement planned activities aimed at combating drug abuse and distribution and prosecuting individuals involved in these illegal activities.
