Ilija Šoškić Receives the “Petar Lubarda” Award for 2026
The jury, comprising Ljiljana Zeković as chair and members Mr Pavle Pejović, Mr Jelena Tomašević, Dr Maja Đurić and Ljiljana Karadžić, unanimously decided to award this year’s prize to academic artist Ilija Šoškić. At the proposal of selector Milica Bezmarević, the other nominees, alongside Šoškić, were academic sculptor Ivana Radovanović and academic sculptor Milivoje Babović. After reviewing the nominees’ bodies of work and artistic achievements, the jury decided to award the prize to Ilija Šoškić, recognizing the exceptional significance of his decades-long artistic career and his contribution to the development and promotion of contemporary visual art.
