According to Resolution 2610(2021), the Committee has made available on its website a summarized explanation accessible via the link https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/sanctions/1267/aq_sanctions_list/summaries, detailing the reasons for listing a person on the sanctions list. The consolidated sanctions list is also updated after all changes related to ISIL and Al-Qaeda are made, available at https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/content/un-sc-consolidated-list. We urge obliged entities under the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing to regularly review these lists to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
