Two Kosovo Citizens Arrested at Velika Beach in Operative Action: Found Specialized Device for Unauthorized Vehicle Unlocking, Over 4,000 Euros, Audi Seized
Officers of the Ulcinj Police Department, as part of intensified activities during the summer tourist season aimed at protecting citizens and tourists' safety and combating all forms of crime, carried out a planned operational-tactical measure called "Ambush" in the Velika Beach area in Ulcinj. The goal was to detect and prevent property crimes and identify perpetrators. After inspection, the suspects were taken to the police station. During a search of the individuals and a Polish-registered Audi A5 used by them, a specialized electronic device for contactless vehicle unlocking, brand "Pandora," was found, suspected to be used for unauthorized vehicle unlocking, along with other tools and equipment suitable for committing property crimes. Additionally, 3,785 euros and 960 convertible marks were seized, suspected to be proceeds from thefts on beaches in Ulcinj. Police officers returned part of the money, 860 euros and 960 convertible marks, to victims from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina who previously reported their money stolen. The Audi A5 vehicle was temporarily seized for further investigation and expert analysis.
