Operation Foreigner: 1,523 measures and actions taken against foreign nationals in Montenegro in June; 16 people expelled

Border police officers, as part of the operational-tactical action "Foreigner," implemented 1,523 measures and actions in June aimed at controlling the movement, stay, and work of foreign nationals in Montenegro, and carried out 82 planned activities, both independently and in cooperation with relevant inspection authorities. During these activities, 209 decisions on return were issued, 16 decisions on expulsion of foreign nationals, and 168 decisions to cancel stays of up to 90 days, while 42 foreign nationals were forcibly removed. Additionally, 38 initiatives were submitted to the Ministry of Interior for the termination of temporary stays of foreign nationals, and 936 misdemeanor reports or orders were issued. Five decisions imposing milder measures were made, five foreign nationals were placed in the Reception Center for Foreigners, and 96 individuals were handed over to neighboring countries' authorities under readmission agreements in expedited procedures. Furthermore, eight decisions were made to revoke or cancel Montenegrin D-type visas.
