Police intensively working on identifying, locating, and apprehending the person who carried out an attack on a police officer's family house during the night using firearms

On approximately 02:50 hours, an unknown person fired five shots from a firearm—pistol—toward the family house of police officer M.E. Two bullets damaged a window, while three bullets hit the exterior wall of the house—plastered wall. Officers from the Podgorica Security Department immediately responded to the scene and secured it. Statements have been taken from multiple individuals at the police station regarding information collected from citizens. The police are undertaking extensive coordinated measures and actions, under the order of the competent state prosecutor, to find, locate, and apprehend the person responsible for this attack and to fully clarify the incident. In cooperation with the prosecution, the police will take all legally prescribed measures and actions, provide a strong response, and bring to justice anyone who attempts to intimidate police officers and law enforcement agencies to prevent them from taking decisive and lawful measures in the joint fight against crime.
