Engagement of social workers for better inclusion in the educational process
The introduction of social workers into educational institutions is not just a matter of strengthening school staff. It is an investment in prevention, children's mental health, protection from violence, greater social inclusion, and creating conditions for every child to reach their full potential, emphasized Minister Gutić. The presented study covered seven Montenegrin municipalities, 30 settlements, 2,122 children, as well as research conducted in 6 preschools, 39 primary schools, and 15 secondary schools. The results indicate a need for systematic inclusion of social workers in educational institutions.
