Public Announcement for the Position of Administrative and Financial Assistant within the GEF 7 Project
The Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development is announcing a public call for the position of administrative and financial assistant within the project "Integrating Biodiversity into Sectoral Policies and Practices and Strengthening the Protection of Key Biodiversity Areas in Montenegro" (GEF 7). The project focuses on key biodiversity areas (KBAs) in Montenegro, involving various interventions including ecosystem protection and working with sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and forestry. Component 1 addresses management constraints related to protected areas and unprotected key biodiversity points, ensuring improved management of pilot protected areas to meet international biodiversity protection standards. Component 2 targets sectors outside protected areas near KBAs, addressing sectoral threats to biodiversity through practices adapted to biodiversity and sectoral development scenarios for tourism, forestry, and agriculture, considering potential impacts on biodiversity. The administrative and financial assistant will be engaged from October 1, 2026. Detailed conditions for the position are attached.
