Statement

Police officers from the Herceg Novi Department, in coordination with the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, conducted an on-site investigation in the forest above the settlement of Topla in Herceg Novi, where the suspect in a triple murder, Mihailo Nikolaevič Shabunin (30), a citizen of the Russian Federation, was fatally shot last night. During the investigation, two pistols and more than 230 rounds of ammunition were found and seized, suspected to have been stolen by the suspect yesterday from a shooting range in Danilovgrad after committing the criminal act, along with a mobile phone, tablets, and other items. The found items will be sent for further expert analysis, while police officers, in cooperation with the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, continue activities to determine all circumstances of the event.
