Kordić held a meeting with the ambassador of Thailand

Tourism Minister Simonida Kordić met with the non-resident ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand in Montenegro, Prameša Baholpolbajuhasen, with whom she discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism. Kordić emphasized that tourism is the most important economic sector in Montenegro and that our country, through international and UN platforms, conducts numerous activities aimed at strengthening ties with Europe and the world, promoting tourism potential, and opening new cooperation opportunities. She also informed her interlocutor that Montenegro has opened over 90 new high-category hotels since 2019, and that renowned global brands such as Hyatt, Regent, Aman, Mövenpick, One&Only, and others are already present in our country. Kordić highlighted that the Montenegrin coast is already recognized as a very attractive and competitive tourist destination, and that northern Montenegro is increasingly attracting the attention of investors, who see our country as a reliable destination for investment and sustainable tourism development. The ambassador praised Montenegro's natural beauty and emphasized that our country is becoming more visible and attractive on the international tourist map.
