Campaign 'Live, Don't Rush' – Increased Traffic Controls for August 3rd and 4th

Activities will include deployment of traffic patrols, motorcycle patrols, and Mobile Traffic Police Units ('speed traps'), while drones will be used during intensified controls for more effective detection, documentation, and sanctioning of serious traffic violations. Motorcycle patrols will be active in Kotor, on the Lipci–Kotor route, in Budva's city center, in Kolašin on the Kolašin–Podgorica and Kolašin–Mojkovac highways, and in Pljevlja on the Pljevlja–Đurđevića Tara highway, with a focus on speed control, illegal overtaking, and motorcyclist safety. In Podgorica, traffic patrols will be deployed on the Podgorica–Danilovgrad route during daytime, with increased night surveillance on the Podgorica–Bar route, emphasizing speed, driver intoxication, presence of psychoactive substances, and other serious violations. In Cetinje, intensified controls will be organized on the Podgorica–Cetinje highway and the Cetinje–Budva route, focusing on speed limit violations, illegal overtaking, and other violations on high-traffic segments. In Tivat, police officers will be active on the M-1 highway, from Lepetani–Mažina–Kalimanj–Tivat Airport–Donja Lastva–Župa–Radanovići, as well as on local roads leading to Solila, Krašići, Luštica, Gornja Lastva, and Gradiošnica. These locations outline the deployment framework for traffic patrols, with officers adjusting schedules and increasing surveillance on other sections as needed, based on security assessments, traffic volume, and extraordinary circumstances.
