Podgorica police solve serious theft and arrest suspect for theft of jewelry worth over 100,000 euros
Officers of the Criminal Police Station for combating property crime have solved a serious criminal offense against property committed two days ago, identified and found the suspect, and detained him at the order of the public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica on suspicion of stealing gold jewelry and watches worth more than 100,000 euros. Through intensive criminal and operational activities in the field, police officers identified and then detained D.K. Juna around 03:00 AM, who arrived at the victims' family house located in the Zagorič Park Forest neighborhood. After jumping over the yard gate, he used a suitable tool to break into the house, entered the interior, unlocked the safe in the bedroom, and stole gold jewelry valued at over 100,000 euros, then fled the scene. Police are actively working to recover the stolen jewelry, return it to the owners, and fully clarify all circumstances of this event. The suspect will be, along with a criminal report, brought before the competent public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica within the legal deadline.
